CareLine
CareLine is a personal home emergency response system. The program is available to Delaware and its seven surrounding counties. It is designed for individuals who are capable of living independently but who might need to summon help quickly in the event of an emergency.
Take, for example, a person who has fallen and is unable to get up without assistance. The person would push the personal help button they keep with them. The hospital operator receives the signal, then sends the appropriate help. That could be friends, relatives, neighbors and/or emergency personnel, depending on the needs of the person for whom the program is set up.
To learn more about the program, call the CareLine representative at (765) 747-3319.
