Radiology and Imaging services
The goal of the Blackford Community Hospital Radiology Department is to provide the community it serves with quality primary and emergency diagnostic imaging services. The department's highly qualified technologists are registered ARRT technologists who hold general diagnostic certificates from the Indiana State Department of Health.
The Radiology Department is normally open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Emergency services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Diagnostic imaging services provided at Blackford Community Hospital include fluoroscopy, mammography, computerized axial tomography (CT scan), ultrasound, nuclear medicine and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
All films taken at Blackford Community Hospital are interpreted by board certified radiologists associated with Radiology Associates of Muncie. Nuclear Medicine and MRI services are provided by Alliance Imaging Inc.
