Notice - There will be no Bariatric Support Group meeting for August, 2008.

Contemplating whether to have a bariatric procedure can be a frightening, exciting and confusing time. While surgery is a treatment option available for some individuals with obesity, it's important to work together with your physician and caregivers as you consider an operation that can change your life in many ways.

That's why Ball Memorial Hospital established a team of professionals to cater to your every question, concern and fear. At BMH we provide you with a team made up of nursing staff, counselors and dietitians. One of the team members has been through the procedure for which you are preparing yourself.

The team is here to help you prepare for the months ahead and lay out a roadmap to lead you to a healthier lifestyle and a new you.

Educational seminars are in Ball Memorial Hospital’s Outpatient Medical Pavilion to inform potential patients of the options they have and what BMH offers.

For more information on The Bariatric Center at BMH or to attend one of the informational seminars, contact Mary Harrington at (765) 747-4410.
