Values Line

What happens when I make a call?

The communications specialist asks a series of questions following the who, what, when, where, why and how format.

Do I have to give my name?

No.  You may give your name if you choose, but you are not required to identify yourself.  CHS and the third-party vendor who operates the Values Line will protect your confidentiality to the fullest extent provided by law.  Calls are never recorded or traced.

Can I find out what is being done about my concern?

Callers are given individual code numbers and a date to call back to check on the status of their concerns.  The communications specialist uses the information provided to prepare a written report that is forwarded to the CHS Corporate Compliance Officer for review and investigation.  If the allegations are substantiated, the Compliance Officer sees that appropriate action is taken to address the problem.
