Online Donations--a convenient way to donate to the BMH Foundation

With a few clicks of the mouse individuals can pay a monthly gas or electric bill online. These types of transactions have become commonplace and the BMH Foundation has joined the growing trend.

The BMH Foundation recently unveiled the capabilities of accepting online donations, the newest addition to its website.

“This was the natural progression of things,” said Kelly Stanley, President, BMH Foundation. “This was a way for us to provide supporters of the BMH Foundation an avenue where they can log on 24 hours a day and make a contribution to the Foundation.”

For those who prefer to donate securely online, they may do so through their PayPal® account or using a major credit card.

When using the PayPal feature, donors will be asked for a “shipping” address. By supplying an address, the Foundation can send a thank you note to every donor.

“Online donations can still be earmarked to benefit a specific area of the hospital,” said Tricia Stanley, Administrative Director, BMH Foundation. “We ask that donors indicate this in the special notes section during the online donation process.”

Any donations not earmarked for a specific area will be applied to the area of greatest need. Gifts can also be made to memorialize or honor someone by furnishing the name and address of the individual(s) in the special notes section.

The individual or family members will be notified that a gift was made. Donations may still be made via mail or by calling the BMH Foundation.
